Pre-College Education Division

MATC's Pre-College Education Division exists to prepare students for college-level work. The division's wide range of services includes:

• Basic Skills instruction is designed to bring students up to the 12th-grade level in math, English, computer skills, the sciences and more. Services are provided in Spanish and southeast Asian languages, in addition to English.

• General Educational Development Tests (GED) and High School Equivalency Diploma assistance and testing.

• A comprehensive Adult High School with a full range of student services.

• English as a Second Language programs for those who need to learn English or improve their English-language skills.

• Programs for migrant workers and the sons and daughters of migrant workers. These are the College Assistance Migrant Program and the High School Equivalency Program (CAMP and HEP).

• Explore Careers and learn about MATC programs.
