SCHOLASTIC HONORS RECOGNITION PROGRAMS

Milwaukee Area Technical College is committed to providing students with academic enrichment and scholastic recognition opportunities. Each year, the Scholastic Recognition Committee in conjunction with the Office of the Registrar coordinates and conducts programs that honor and recognize students for their academic excellence and service to others.

The Scholastic Honors Recognition information links below provide general information about the college's honors recognition programs. A brief overview of the eligibility requirements, benefits and notification timetable are included for each program.

Students are notified by mail when it is determined that they are eligible for honors. When contacted according to the notification timetable, students are directed to access detailed information through this website, such as fact sheets and, when applicable, applications for the particular program.
Students are encouraged to apply for honors programs that require an application.

• Outstanding Graduate Competition* - Application deadline is Monday November 23
• President's Award Competition* - Application deadline Monday November 23.
• Scholastic Honor Recognition for Honor Graduates
• State Ambassador Award Competition* - Spring semester only
• National Technical Honor Society
• Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

* The competition requires an application and essay.
