Financial Aid

You may qualify for financial aid only if you meet both of the following criteria:

  • You plan to attend MATC on at least a half-time basis (six credits or more)
  • You are enrolling in an associate degree or technical diploma program that runs six months or longer

To apply for financial aid, complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.  Apply for financial aid at least six months before you expect to enroll to ensure that you have an approved financial aid award by the time you register.  The MATC school code is 003866.

If you expect to have expenses paid by an agency or sponsor, have the letter of authorization mailed to the campus of enrollment or bring it with you when you register. The authorization must state the specific expenses being covered.  (Example:  course fees, textbooks, supplies, etc.)  Contact the agency desk at 414-297-7846.

MATC students can choose from hundreds of scholarships through the MATC Foundation and other sources.

If you are a U.S. military veteran, contact the MATC Veteran's office to learn more about  possible college benefits.

For more information, see the resources page at the end of this orientation.
