Certificates and Apprenticeships

Certificates

MATC offers more than 60 certificates in about 20 career areas. You can earn an MATC certificate by taking the courses required in the certificate's curriculum. Most certificate programs at MATC require less than 20 credits. Certificate programs usually are taken to upgrade job skills.

Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is a formal training agreement providing on-the-job training and related classroom instruction.  A participating employer teaches the trade skills on the job, and classes pertain to a given trade.

For more information about certificates and apprenticeships, see the resources page at the end of this orientation.
