MATC NARI Home Remodeling Scholarship
Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits in a program at Milwaukee Area Technical College with preference given to students enrolled in one of the building construction programs such as: Bricklaying and Masonry; Cabinetmaking and Millwork; Carpentry; Electricity; Construction Electricity; Landscape Horticulture; Architectural Technology; Air Conditioning; Refrigeration, and Heating. All applicants must have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicants must submit a completed MATC Foundation Scholarship Application by the appropriate deadline to be considered for an award. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from instructors, employers or others who have knowledge of the applicant's skills and abilities. Applicants must verify their level of financial need as evidenced by completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available in the Milwaukee Area Technical College Financial Aid office (S222). Applicants must be making satisfactory academic progress as defined by MATC's standards of academic success to be considered for renewal of this scholarship.
