How can you contact your advisor? Most students are assigned an advisor who is also an instructor from their program, so it is best to contact him or her during posted office hours, either in person, through e-mail, or by phone. Office hours are generally posted on the advisor?s office door, but you may also check the listing of office hours though the Division office for your program. If your schedules conflict, ask if other appointment times are available. It may take more than one attempt before connecting with your advisor. Keep trying and be sure to let your advisor know when and how they might contact you. Some faculty advisors may use MATC Provided Student e-mail to contact you, while others may take time in the classroom to discuss program planning and registration. Watch for classroom announcements and postings. If your program plan does not list an advisor, or if the advisor listed is incorrect, contact a staff member listed below at the appropriate campus and program. They are not advisors but will assign another advisor to you.
If you are changing programs for the follwing semester, you will receive information from Admissions about making an appointment with your counselor for a Program Planning session. You will then be reassigned an advisor during the first semester of enrollment in your new program.
