Six Sigma Green Belt

Six Sigma is applied in many industries including health care, manufacturing, business operations and service sectors. The Six Sigma Green Belt professional analyzes and solves quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects.
This certificate consists of three courses. The first two cover the Green Belt body of knowledge in the Six Sigma problem-solving methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). The third class is the implementation of a Six Sigma project.
Fall 2012 - Spring 2013 Course Requirements
MATH-260, BADM-104 or previous statistics coursework are required to enroll in the certificate courses.

All credits in this certificate must be earned at MATC with a 2.0 GPA or better. The student must initiate the request for the certificate upon completion of requirements.
