The Printing diploma program provides entry-level experience in setting up and running a variety of small offset presses. Students also learn the principles of computer to plate printing and screen printing. The printing industry is the third largest manufacturing employer in Wisconsin and there is an ongoing need for skilled personnel throughout the nation. Job titles may include press operator, scanner operator, platemaker, finishing worker and prepress production technician. Core skills include artistic aptitude, good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
