2011-12 Course Requirements
This one-semester program emphasizes the skills, theory and practical applications of phlebotomy. Phlebotomists draw blood and may also perform lab procedures and clerical duties. During the clinical course, students acquire hands-on experience at a medical facility. The demand for phlebotomists is high. This program may be taken on a part-time basis. The program is approved by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
