Music Recording Certificate
This 16-credit certificate provides the opportunity for you to develop skills in the use of recording equipment, computers and electronics. Additional courses in business, music and communications give you the background needed to be successful in the field. No previous musical or recording experience is required to participate in the program. An introductory computer course is a prerequisite. Courses include Music Business, Music Technology, Techniques of Sound Recording, Introductory Electronics, Piano Lab and Interpersonal Communications in the Workplace.

All credits in this certificate must be earned at MATC with a 2.0 GPA or better. The student must initiate the request for the certificate upon completion of requirements.
