Marketing Management is an associate degree program that prepares you for a career in the broad field of marketing. You will develop skills in the principles of sales and marketing, market research and analysis, selling and purchasing. The program allows you to focus on one of three areas: wholesale and industrial sales and marketing, management decision-making, or advertising. Job prospects are bright. Typical career areas are marketing and marketing support, sales and promotion, media planning and research, account service, sales and purchasing. Core skills include the ability to arrive at logical conclusions by relying on facts and reason, above-average interpersonal skills, and the ability to function as a member of a team. If you are working full time, you may opt for a more flexible format - only four hours a week for six weeks year-round - called FASTRAK Marketing.
