Students in the Legal Administrative Professional degree program typically perform administrative work in law firms. Graduates work in all areas of law such as bankruptcy; business and corporate; civil litigation; criminal; divorce and family law; wills, trusts, and estates; government law; patent, trademark, and copyright law; personal injury and property damage; probate; real estate; and worker's compensation. The job market for legal administrative professionals is very good. Core skills include above-average keyboarding and machine transcription skills, a firm grasp of English usage and an ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, and an ability to work under pressure.
