A criteria considered in the petition process is verification of student residency. Selection will be based on residency and will be prioritized according to these criteria: Milwaukee Area Technical College District resident; State of Wisconsin resident; out-of-state resident.
Note: Assistance with petition packet paperwork will not be provided once petition windows have opened.

Health Unit Coordinator is a 16-credit, short-term technical diploma program (20 weeks full-time and about one year part-time). The program focuses on preparing you to coordinate non-direct patient care tasks including order transcription, clerical support functions, extensive customer service interactions, as well as taking direction from physicians, nurses and other allied health professionals.
