Honors Program
The MATC Honors Program provides an opportunity for highly motivated students to achieve their full potential. - You qualify for the honors program if you:

- Have at least a 3.3 GPA.
- Complete an honors option contract with your instructor.
- Honors contract details the additional scholarly work that you will pursue, with your instructors guidance, for Honors credits.
- An Honors contract is at the discretion of the instructor. An instructor does not have to provide an Honors contract.
- Successful completion of honors work qualifies you for a special Honors designation on your transcripts.
- You receive special commendation as an Honors graduate if you:
- Earn a minimum of 15 Honors credits.
- Complete the course requirements of your associate degree program
- Attain a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average.
