The Culinary Arts associate degree program prepares you for a career in restaurant, hotel and institutional food service. Coursework includes the preparation of basic and specialized foods, dining room service, wine and beverage study, menu planning and nutrition, catering and special function planning. Graduates of the Culinary Arts program are highly employable as cooks, bakers and restaurant management trainees. Core skills include the ability to communicate well with others, above-average physical stamina and the ability to work rapidly.
