Criminal Justice - Law Enforcement is an associate degree program designed to prepare you for employment in law enforcement at state, local and federal levels or in the field of private security/loss prevention. There is high demand for our students. Typical positions include police officer, deputy sheriff and security agent as well as careers that support these positions (administration, communication, investigation and record maintenance). Many of the courses contain training directly from the state law enforcement standards board curriculum related to the certification of law enforcement officers. This degree will provide a solid foundation for future careers or to enhance current employment within the field. Successful completion of this program may qualify you to enroll in the basic recruit training academy which leads to certification as an officer in the state of Wisconsin. Most of the program courses are accepted for transfer to colleges and universities.
