Detailed Program Information: 2008-09 Course Requirements
This two-semester technical diploma program prepares you for employment in CNC machining. Graduates are expected to know how to operate CNC machining and turning centers, apply CAD/CAM programming procedures, and demonstrate a basic knowledge of computer hardware and software applications related to CNC programming. Currently, there is a shortage of skilled CNC machine operators/programmers, so job prospects are very good. Before enrolling in this program, you must first complete a CNC Machine Tool Setup and Operation diploma program or have prior hands-on CNC machine tool experience.
