The Automotive Maintenance Technician one-year diploma program is designed to train you to service and repair the internal systems of automobiles. The need for automotive technicians is strong. Program graduates locate employment with automobile dealerships, service stations, specialized shops and repair garages. Duties often entail new car predelivery and inspection, car cleanup and drivetrain, electrical, and mechanical repairs. Core skills include a high degree of manual dexterity and the ability to interpret drawings found in service manuals.
