The Auto Collision Repair and Finish Technician program instructs you in the repair of cars and trucks, including those with unibody construction. Coursework includes welding, sheet metal correction, realignment and electrical repair. The need for auto body technicians, especially those with up-to-date skills, is extremely high. Graduates typically obtain positions as vehicle painters, vehicle body repairers, estimators, and body shop assistants. Core skills include manual dexterity and the ability to distinguish colors.
