A criterion considered in the petition process is verification of student residency. Students selected via the petition process are chosen based on MATC district residency, then Wisconsin nondistrict residency, followed by nonresidents, unless otherwise stated.

This associate degree program prepares you to work as a member of an anesthesia team in surgery. You will learn the concepts and clinical applications in our on-campus surgical suite where you will learn professional skills prior to actual patient contact. These skills include assisting with monitoring lines, patient transport, interpreting physiological information, and patient preparation. You will be assigned to various hospitals as part of the clinical phase of your education. This program has optional, flexible part-time enrollment that enables you to complete the program over an extended period of time.
