This associate degree program is designed to prepare you for a career in animation and gaming, but the skills you can obtain in this program are transferable to many other industries such as computer programming, multimedia development and film production. Students choose between two areas of focus: Animation or Programming. Students from both disciplines will be exposed to both aspects of the industry through collaborative assignments. The program is intended to give students applied skills in upcoming technologies, object-oriented programming concepts, computer software languages, creative design, planning, modeling, communication, teamwork and problem analysis.
