The Emergency Medical Technician - Basic program is designed to prepare you for a career in the emergency services field. It also can be used to enhance the level of your existing skills in the field. This program uses the State of Wisconsin EMT- Basic curriculum. Students also receive training in CPR using American Heart Association curriculum. Successful completion of the program with a grade of "C" or better will prepare you to take the National Registry Examination. Upon passing the National Registry Examination, students become candidates for certification and licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
