Graduation Information

Congratulations!  Now that you have satisfied all of the requirements for your Associate Degree or Technical Diploma program, or plan to by the end of the current semester, you need to apply for graduation.

• How to Apply:
  • Online (requires Adobe Reader) 
  • Print "Attending Commencement" at the top of the graduation application if you plan to attend the graduation ceremony.
  • At all campuses
    • Student Services Office at the Mequon, Oak Creek and West Allis campuses.
    • Student Center, first floor, registration area at the Downtown Milwaukee campus.
• A $20 graduation fee is due at the time you submit the graduation application.
• The deadline to apply is
  • October 31st for the fall semester December graduation.
  • March 31st for the spring semester May graduation.
• Diplomas are mailed six to eight weeks after the end of the semester.
  • Make sure we have your current mailing address.
    • Mailing addresses are on file at the Student Services Office at the Mequon, Oak Creek and West Allis campuses, and the registration area, Student Center, first floor, at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus.
• Commencement
  • Commencement exercises are held in December and May.  Your attendance is optional but please confirm your intentions to attend when you submit you application and pay the graduation fee.  For more graduation information, email grahama@matc.edu .
• Duplicate Diploma
  • You may request a duplicate diploma by printing "Duplicate Diploma" at the top of the graduation application.
  • The fee is $30 and due at the time you submit your request.
