NCA Accreditations - Accredited by the NCA Since 1958

MATC is committed to developing and maintaining high standards of excellence. By doing so, the efforts have given MATC accreditations by the North Central Association (NCA) of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. We have received 10-year reaccreditations from the NCA since 1958 and was the first two-year college in the country to earn NCA accreditation. To earn NCA accreditation, MATC programs and services undergo a comprehensive on-site evaluation focusing on academic excellence, student achievement, facilities, including classrooms and labs, and more. In addition to the NCA accreditation, MATC is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges. The college’s academic programs are also accredited, approved, and/or governed by other organizations and agencies.
