Emergency Cancellation of MATC Classes

In the event of severe weather conditions or other emergencies, official announcements regarding cancellation of classes will be made on WMVS-TV, Milwaukee Channel 10. Channel 10 is the only official media for college closings. Announcements will be repeated at six-minute intervals on the lower portion of the TV screen. If no announcement is made on Channel 10, classes will be held.

Emergency closing information will be provided in a recorded telephone message on the MATC Weather Telephone. Call 414-297-6561.

An official follow-up announcement will be made on Channel 10 the day after classes were canceled, indicating whether or not classes will be in session that day.

Day Classes: All announcements will start at 6 a.m. and end at 8 a.m.

Evening Classes: All announcements will start at 2 p.m. and end at 6 p.m.

Saturday Classes: All announcements will start at 7 a.m. and end at 9 a.m.
