MATC Student Wins Inaugural "Milwaukee Style Trial"
MILWAUKEE (Oct. 29, 2009) - Fashion/retail marketing student Nong Chang won the first “Milwaukee Style Trial” competition, that challenged stylists’ creativity and vision. The competition was a first of its kind in Milwaukee and was organized by Flaire Boutique. Finalists were responsible for creating fashion styling for a runway fashion show. The contestants had to present a total of 15 looks with five models showing three themes.
Proceeds from the event, which was held at the InterContinental Hotel, benefitted the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and the Milwaukee Art Museum.
