MATC Business Synergy Center Web Site Launched
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (August 18, 209) - Milwaukee Area Technical College has launched a new web site to promote its Business Synergy Center. The site is accessible at http://matc.edu/business_synergy/index.html.
The Business Synergy Center provides two types of partnerships – project-based and internships. The projects are designed to last one semester and cover a wide range of possibilities, including designing web sites, developing financing plans, and creating risk management plans. Internship opportunities are available in 16 different categories
The comprehensive web site details how local businesses can partner with MATC faculty and students on short-term special projects. More than a half dozen projects are reviewed on the site and include business partners such as Summerfest and the Greendale Village Business Association.
“The Business Synergy Center is a win-win situation for our students and for area businesses,” said MATC associate dean, business, Rich Busalacchi. “Having all of the elements located in one web site will help us attract new partners and share our success stories.”
