MATC Foundation Scholarship Recipient William Campbell MATC Class of 2005 and MU Graduate Student

William Campbell graduated from MATC in 2005 with an associate degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. Since his graduation from MATC, Will has been busy. He recently earned a bachelor's degree from Fisk University in Nashville. Currently he is a graduate student at Marquette University, where he received a Thomas R. Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship.

Will also works part-time with the MATC Just One Mentoring Program. The Pickering Fellowship provides a full academic scholarship. Will is focusing on his demanding graduate work and continues to mentor MATC students who need positive peer influence through the Just One program. Like many other MATC success stories, Will used his MATC education as a springboard to advance his education. Rose Massey, one of Will's former MATC instructors, said, "MATC helped lay the foundation for what this young man is all about."
