Hair and Nail Service

Need a haircut? Do you want your hair highlighted or straightened? Want a spa treatment for your nails? MATC offers students and their families the opportunity to experience salon-style services.

Four classrooms, modeled after personal style salons, offer services performed by Barber/Cosmetology students under the guidance of faculty members. Appointments last from 1 to 3-1/2 hours, depending on service. Reasonable fees are charged.

Hair care services

 • Haircuts and trims for men and women
 • Styling (including sets, waves, updos, braids)
 • Color (full color or tint, highlighting, lowlighting)
 • Permanent waves, chemical relaxing, reverse curl
