Community/Urban Affairs
Community/Urban Affairs is responsible for strengthening the relationship between the MATC community and urban Milwaukee through highlighting programs and career opportunities offered at MATC, and to eliminate perceived barriers that have restricted or impeded educational opportunities for a large concentrated population. The primary goal is to increase the awareness of programs and opportunities at MATC and to provide a welcoming, informative, and supportive environment.
The Community/Urban Affairs office also assists the institution in maintaining a positive image in the MATC community by:
- Provide outreach into the Milwaukee community, target marketing.
- Provide an openness for the community to have access to the offerings of the college.
- Promote goodwill and relationship building with the corporate community through communications and participation.
