To locate a book or another item in any of the MATC libraries, you must search the library's online catalog, WebCat. WebCat lists the call number and location information for all library items. It is this call number and location information that you must use to find a book or another type of item within the library.

• Search by following the instructions within Webcat. 
• Look through the list of library items that appears with call number and location information.
• Write down the entire call number.
• Go to the location in the library to find the item on the shelves.

If you are not sure where a location is, or if you do not find the library item on the shelf, ask the library staff.
